The Tidal Prediction Service can be accessed via the Tidal Services section in the Marine Data Portal.

If the customer wants predictions outside of the options presented on TPS then they must contact customerservices@ukho.gov.uk who will record and assign the task to the Tides team. This service is subject to a handling charge on account of it being bespoke in nature. Prices are variable according to the task.
A user will need to sign up if they have not already to this website, using the ‘Sign in’ button at the top right hand side of the screen. Please note if they have not yet registered it is very quick to do and requires the user to verify their email address. See below image which highlights in red the ‘Sign In’ location.
Once the user has signed up or signed in (whichever is applicable), they are able to order Tidal Predictions by following the ‘order tidal predictions’ link. The below image shows for this demonstration we have selected ‘Amble’ for our desired location:
To purchase tidal predictions you have three simple steps from start to finish:
Step 1 – Choose the tidal station that tidal predictions are required for.
Step 2 – Choose the years the tidal predictions are required for.
Step 3 – Choose the format required (image below for further guidance relating to this step)
Formats can be viewed by using the drop down menu (in the image above can see ‘HW & LW’ is the selected option from the drop down field) after choosing either ‘pdf’ or ‘ASCII’ format.
A user can view a sample of the format they have selected by following the ‘view a sample document’ link. We would recommend you do this before adding the item to the basket to ensure you have selected the correct format before any purchase is made.
